You've heard about it, you've waited for it: AS I…
butterLondon Scrubbers 2-in-1 Prep & Remover wipes are wonderful for travel. They are also my new favorite polish remover for use at home. Nail polish chips are unacceptable on my nails and toes – I can’t stand a cracked, chipped or peeling manicure or pedicure whether at home or away, so I love these little scrubbing pads that travel anywhere — you can take them in your makeup bag as they are not a liquid product, so you can take them on a plane in your purse; you’ll always be ready to sweep away a now- unsightly mani-pedi. butterLondon says that Scrubbers remove the polish from 10 toes or 10 fingers each, but I like to use 2 pads and be scrupulous about removing my polish. One Scrubber works just fine when prepping the nail for new polish, and they are very effective for removal of long-wear polish, too, like CND 7-day VINYLUX Weekly Polish. I haven’t tried to remove a gel or shellac manicure by wrapping each nail with a scrubber, and then in foil — that’s a future project!
Scrubbers have less odor than other polish removers I’ve used; they don’t have an acetone-type smell and have a much milder scent than most without being perfumed. They work so well… Scrubbing! You’ll have a thorough removal without drying out the cuticle, they don’t shred or dissolve and never drip, which is the main problem with most removal pads, whether you’re using pre-packaged pads or removing polish with a cotton pad or puff at home. Ick. That stain is not coming out, baby.
butterLondon has a whole new line of products that you’ll see more of here, soon. The packaging is so lovely, very Anthropologie. Their packaging designs look like something you’d see in a very hip boutique in the early 70’s, in London or maybe New York. Someplace the girl in the know would shop for cute things. A Biba girl would have been proud to tuck the butterLondon Scrubbers into her makeup bag.
The butterLondon Scrubbers 2-in-1 Prep 7 Remover wipes are $10 for 10 individually packed wipes.
