Laura Mercier’s new HIGH COVERAGE CONCEALER ($28) is billed as…
If you love Urban Decay Naked anything – the vlogger and beauty bblogger favorites Naked and Naked 2 eye palettes and all of the other wonderful UD products – you’ll love the palettes and the brush!
The Urban Decay Flushed Bronzer/Highlighter/Blush trio ($30) is deeper and darker than the Native trio; the Native has a brighter pink blush and is lighter all-around than the Flushed.
Choose the Native if you want all-around pink or just more of a pop of color. The Flushed seems suited for medium to dark skin tones and the bronzer in this trio has no shimmer that I could see. My poor Flushed compact arrived a bit cracked, sorry about that in the pic.
You can wear these individually or mixed, which is a better bet – the highlighter is smaller than the other sections and you’d need a smaller brush, say, a MAC #159 or the superb Urban Decay optical Blurring brush ($25) to use the highlighter alone without swirling them all or to use just one of the colors on your brush. If you don’t have either of these brushes for your makeup bag, baby, get thee to the internet or mall now. You need the MAC #159 for mineral makeup or anywhere where a light dusting is needed (like say, a highlighter). It is one of my favorite blush brushes right now. The Urban Decay Optical Blurring brush is so wonderful that I’m doing a piece on that brush later. It was developed for the new UD liquid foundation but is a workhorse at a good price.
